Mishima Scarf

67x67cm silk scarf

Laser-printed silk scarf, representing Japanese writer Yukio Mishima, portraying himself as San Sebastian.
"Mishima said he was spellbound by Guido Reni's painting Saint Sebastian, which depicts the martyr half-naked and pierced with arrows. A famous photograph by Eikō Hosoe shows him in this posture (published in the album Ordalia by Roses (Barakei) in 1963: 39 portraits and a preface by the writer)."
